The ongoing stability in outlooks signals the sustained positive trend in Barents Re’s operating performance metrics and the enhanced corporate governance framework. While the outlook remains stable, it’s imperative for the successful execution of strategic plans, as any failure in this regard could lead to potential negative rating actions.

Moody's Rating
This rating is part of Barents Re’s strategy of diversification of ratings to give the company increased visibility, and to achieve a combined rating that gives clients and business partners adequate counter party risk metrics.
The strategy is part of our long-term goal of having our reinsurance operation based in jurisdictions with very high standards of supervision, and high sovereign ceilings so that this does not impair our rating outlook. During the next year we should have a third rating added to our profile to close rating diversification exercise.
